About the job
Your tasks: You set the hotel's culinary direction and build menus around seasonal Irish produce, local suppliers and the character of the Burren. You lead and develop the kitchen team, manage budget, food cost, purchasing and waste, and build relationships with producers and suppliers. With front of house and management you work on pricing, the guest experience and the hotel's reputation.
What you bring: The ad prefers around three years in a Michelin-starred or 3+ rosette kitchen and around three years of senior kitchen management. You cook with skill, think commercially and lead with conviction. You value Irish produce and its provenance and speak fluent English. You need the right to work in Ireland and a car. With your application you send a CV and a cover letter covering your culinary philosophy and your goals for the next three to five years.
