About the job
Your tasks: You design the wine lists and set the strategic direction of the wine offer together with the Director of F&B. You are responsible for wine purchasing for the whole resort, from choosing suppliers to handling contracts, advise guests, sell wine and run tastings. You recruit, lead and develop the sommelier team, create rosters, look after the wine cellar, coordinate the daily wine supply to the outlets and train service staff. You keep an eye on revenue and cost targets.
What you bring: You have training in hospitality and a certified sommelier qualification. You bring several years of experience as a lead sommelier in fine dining or luxury hotels, plus leadership experience. You speak fluent German and English, work independently and have strong intercultural skills.
