About the job
Your tasks: You advise guests on wine and drinks and recommend pairings, know the wine list in depth, open and serve wines and champagnes following service protocol, drive beverage sales and control costs. You manage orders, stock and rotation, create and update the wine list with the outlet managers and the executive chef, analyse sales and profitability, train the F&B team, manage suppliers and negotiate prices. You follow responsible alcohol service rules and 5-star standards.
What you bring: You hold a sommelier qualification (WSET or equivalent), have broad knowledge of wines, drinks, brands and the market, proven knowledge of service protocol and gastronomy and at least one year as a sommelier. English at B2 minimum, a third language is a plus. You are available for night shifts.
