About the job
Your tasks: You prepare ingredients, keep up the pace of service, keep the kitchen organised and help prepare dishes with attention to texture, colour and presentation. You follow the chef's instructions, manage use, storage and rotation of products and keep your station clean.
What you bring: At least two years of kitchen experience in organised restaurants, team spirit, respect for ingredients and strict hygiene. You work quickly and calmly under pressure, are available for rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays, live in or near Marbella or are willing to relocate, and hold a valid work permit.
What Gastro Portal (Grupo Gastroportal) offers you: A permanent full-time job, two consecutive days off a week, shared tips, performance incentives, private health insurance and ongoing training. The ad says nothing about housing. It expects you to live in or near Marbella or be willing to move to the city, so ask about support.
About the group: Gastro Portal (Grupo Gastroportal) is a restaurant group founded in 2009 with venues in Marbella, Madrid and Alicante. This job belongs to a venue at the Hotel Don Carlos in Marbella.

Still missing your insurance?
German public health insurance often covers only part of the costs abroad and never a transport back home. Travel health insurance for longer stays and work abroad closes that gap.
