About the job
Your tasks: In your three-year apprenticeship you get to know food, where it comes from and how to prepare it. You also learn the daily work routines, how to put together menus and how to set up buffets. You have your own training plan and one fixed contact person.
What you bring: You enjoy cooking and preparing food, you have finished compulsory school with a pass (or you are switching from a higher school), and you stay calm even in a big kitchen.
What Parkhotel Pörtschach offers you: a room in the staff house, full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner free, 7 days a week), from € 1,090 gross in the 1st year of your apprenticeship, free cleaning of your work clothes, free training and the chance to do your apprenticeship together with the Matura (school-leaving exam). According to the hotel, the apprenticeship starts from March 2027.
