About the job

Your tasks: You cook buffet and à la carte dishes for guests from all over the world, do prep and daily kitchen tasks, take care of cleanliness and food-safety self-checks and work closely with the service and kitchen team. Food is an important part of the holiday experience here.

What you bring: Experience as a cook, the Finnish hygiene passport (hygieniapassi), a proactive, independent way of working, team spirit and the ambition to make good food even on the busiest days of the season.

What Wilderness Hotels offers you: A season from November 2026 to April 2027, from €2,400 gross per month plus extras depending on training and experience, a working-hours bank (extra hours taken off later or paid out at the end), staff benefits and, after work, ski tracks, snowshoe trails and northern lights. If needed, Wilderness Hotels provides staff housing: clean, fully equipped flats, you basically only need a toothbrush and warm clothes; in winter you share a room with one colleague.

About the company: Nellim Wilderness Hotels and Safaris runs several wilderness hotels in the municipality of Inari (Nellim, Inari, Muotka, Saariselkä), far north of the Arctic Circle, with guests from all over the world and around 400 staff in winter.
