About the job
Your tasks: You learn the kitchen from scratch: preparing ingredients, cooking sauces, meat, fish and sides, plating dishes and keeping hygiene standards. Over time you help plan menus, cost dishes and handle ordering and storage.
What you bring: At least a basic school leaving certificate, a love of food and cooking, team spirit, care and stamina. Evening and weekend shifts do not put you off.
What Biohotel Eggensberger offers: You can move into a room in one of the hotel's team flat shares or staff apartments. Apprentice pay is 1.100 € in the first, 1.200 € in the second and 1.300 € in the third year. You also get an extra 100 € a month, two days off a week and an optional add-on in vegetarian and vegan cooking.
About the business: Biohotel Eggensberger is a family run, certified four star organic hotel on Lake Hopfensee near Füssen in the Allgäu. Vocational school is held in blocks in Bad Wörishofen.
