About the job
Your tasks: You serve lunch and dinner to guests from all over the world, buffet and à la carte, work at the bar and recommend suitable wines and aperitifs. Between shifts you prepare the restaurant: laying tables, polishing cutlery, restocking the bar. In the evening some guests stay at the bar by the fire, and when the northern lights appear the restaurant empties in seconds.
What you bring: A positive, professional attitude, enjoyment of teamwork and a changing season rhythm, willingness to learn and English (other languages are a plus). The Finnish alcohol licence (anniskelupassi) helps but is not required.
What Wilderness Hotels offers you: A winter season from November 2026 to April 2027, from €2,350 gross per month (€14.77/h) plus extras depending on experience, a working-hours bank, staff benefits and nature on your doorstep with ski tracks, snowshoe and fat-bike trails. If needed, Wilderness Hotels provides staff housing: clean, fully equipped flats, you basically only need a toothbrush and warm clothes; in winter you share a room with one colleague.
About the company: Nellim Wilderness Hotels and Safaris runs several wilderness hotels in the municipality of Inari (Nellim, Inari, Muotka, Saariselkä), far north of the Arctic Circle, with guests from all over the world and around 400 staff in winter.
