About the job

Your tasks: You lead the kitchen across three outlets: The Birnam (all-day dining, seasonal Scottish produce), the Garden Café and the Spa Café. You develop menus and concepts, own food cost, waste and profitability, lead and develop the brigade and work closely with front of house.

What you bring: You have a proven record leading teams in a quality hotel, resort or restaurant, can manage cost, purchasing and menu planning and lead with a coaching mindset. You are creative, organised and a good team player. Good English is expected.

What The Gleneagles Hotel offers: A permanent full-time position (39 hours) at GBP 59,019 per year including estimated gratuities. Accommodation: subsidised single en-suite room on the hotel grounds. You also get 30 days of holiday, 50 percent off food, spa and country pursuits, golf membership for GBP 50 a year, a pension scheme and training.
