Your tasks: You repair and maintain the buildings and grounds, paint and touch up inside and out and look after the historic building fabric. You keep an eye on heating, water, electrics and equipment, maintain outdoor areas, paths and yards including winter service, help at events and coordinate outside tradespeople on larger projects. Regular rounds show you what needs repairing.
What you bring: You have a trade qualification or long practical experience, can do a lot yourself including painting, and work independently, in a structured way and reliably. Discretion and a sense of responsibility matter to you, and experience with old buildings helps. You are willing to live on the estate.
