About the job

Your tasks: You serve and look after guests, clean the hut, help with kitchen prep, fire the stove and bring supplies up from the valley by snowmobile.

What you bring: Some hospitality experience is ideal, career changers are welcome. You carry plates and drinks, pour beer, wash up and clean, have good German, love mountains and nature and like solving problems as a team.

What das Alois-Günther-Haus offers: You stay in a single or double room, depending on availability. The ad calls the pay "fair" plus a share of tips, without a figure. You work five days a week, from early December 2026 to the end of March or April 2027.

About the hut: The Alois-Günther-Haus stands at around 1,800 metres on the Stuhleck in Styria, right by the ski area. It has 35 beds and was recently renovated.
